On Monday, the court was told call records and data retrieved from phones logged Ms Wandelt persistently demanding Madeleine's mother for a biological test over that period.

Madeleine's case in 2007 - at the age of three during a trip in Portugal - is one of the most publicized child disappearance cases and is still open.

'I Am Not Seeking Money'

One phone message, presented in court, documented Ms Wandelt declaring: "I realize I'm fat and not pretty like Madeleine had been, but I believe what I believe."

While one recording of Ms Wandelt's monologues with Mrs McCann's recording said: "Imagine there is a tiny probability that I am she? Then what? Wouldn't that be important for you?"

"I am not seeking money, I possess a living here in Poland, I simply desire to understand," she added.

The tribunal was advised that via electronic messages, text messages and phone calls, Ms Wandelt requested a biological test, forwarded early photographs to her phone in a attempt to show a resemblance to Mrs McCann's disappeared daughter, and asserted to have "flashbacks" from a childhood with the McCanns.

Robert Jones, a data specialist with law enforcement who compiled the information, told the court there "showed no any answers" from Mrs McCann.

Ms Wandelt additionally reached out to acquaintances of the McCanns, as per the communication logs.

On that date, the father answered a phone call from Ms Wandelt to his wife's phone, saying she had "the wrong phone."

On that occasion Ms Wandelt recorded a recording on Mrs McCann's recording declaring "I will persist and I will prove my claim."

The court was informed the co-defendant developed a connection through digital means with Ms Wandelt prior to joining her on a appearance to the McCanns' residence in the county in December 2024.

Communication data revealed Mrs Spragg had communicated through communication app to Mrs McCann to express the press had portrayed Ms Wandelt as "mentally unstable" but that she should be taken seriously in the months preceding the trip to that location, the county, in December 2024.

The court heard communications between the two individuals, in last November, discussing endeavoring to get Mrs McCann's DNA samples from her trash or from silverware at a restaurant.

"We must take action," the co-defendant told Ms Wandelt.

On the occasion of the trip to their home, the defendant dispatched a communication which expressed: "We are positioned near the McCanns' house with our headlights off resembling detectives. I wanted to achieve this with another person I didn't imagine I would be involved in this with the McCanns."

The trial proceeds.
